Jake Bullen is the MHL Player of the Week (Jan 24 2012)
The Reebok CCM Player of the Week is Jake Bullen of the CIBC Wood Gundy Lumberjacks. Bullen had an extraordinary week for the Lumberjacks. The 20 year-old forward from Halifax earned a whopping 12 points in three games including 8 goals. On Thursday night he earned a goal and three assists in a 6-4 win over Miramichi. Following that effort, Bullen earned a hat trick and an assist in a 10-6 loss in Yarmouth on Saturday night, earning second star. To finish the week, Bullen earned first star in a 5-4 overtime win over the Amherst Ramblers. Bullen almost single-handedly took down the Ramblers with a four goal effort including the overtime winner.
Bullen has turned in a solid season and career with the Lumberjacks. On the year he has 56 points in 42 games and shares the goals lead with two others at 30. Congratulations Jake on a truly amazing week.
