Action started early in the Bridgewater Memorial Arena in the game between the Nauss Tim-BR Mart Lumberjacks and the Woodstock Slammers, with the Slammers taking the 1-0 lead with a powerplay goal two minutes into the first. The Lumberjacks answered with Scott Theriault who tied the game at 1-1 five minutes later.

However this was all the resistance the Lumberjacks were able to show in their 3rd game in a row. The Slammers were able to find the net two more times in the first period (3-1) and four more times in the 2nd period. Philip Wright replaced Travis Hall in the net during the 2nd frame. There was no scoring action during the 3rd period.

The Lumberjacks are hosting the Halifax Lions in Bridgewater on Friday, Jan. 22nd at 7:00pm.
